iOS 17.3.1 Resmi Dirilis, Perbaiki "Bug" Kotak Teks yang Mengganggu

KOMPAS.com - Apple merilis sistem operasi (OS) iPhone, iOS 17.3.1. Dalam versi terbaru kali ini, Apple memperbaiki satu masalah (bug) yang ditemukan di iOS 17.3.

Isu atau bug yang diperbaiki tersebut melanda fitur kotak teks (text box) yang biasa dipakai untuk memasukkan kata atau kalimat dalam sebuah aplikasi.

Apple menyebut sebelum diperbaiki, kotak teks tersebut bisa tiba-tiba error dan bisa menyalin atau "tumpang tindih" dengan teks lainnya tanpa disengaja. Ini dapat mengganggu kinerja dan pengalaman pengguna. Kini, masalah tersebut, lanjut Apple, sudah diperbaiki via iOS 17.3.1.

Selain perbaikan fitur teks di atas, Apple tidak menyebut apa saja hal lainnya yang diperbaiki di iOS 17.3.1.

Namun, selain versi iOS tersebut, Apple juga merilis pembaruan OS untuk perangkat Apple Watch dan Mac, yaitu dengan versi watchOS 10.3.1 dan macOS Sonoma 14.3.1.

Dalam versi watchOS 10.3.1, Apple mengatakan bahwa mereka menghadirkan sejumlah peningkatan sistem dan memperbaiki sejumlah bug yang ada di versi watchOS sebelumnya. Tidak disebutkan apa saja yang baru dan diperbaiki di versi watchOS kali ini.

Sementara untuk macOS Sonoma 14.3.1, Apple menghadirkan perbaikan yang sama seperti di iOS 17.3.1, yaitu perbaikan pada fitur teks yang tiba-tiba bisa mengganti mengubah kata atau kalimat yang telah ditulis.

Konon, masalah ini sudah melanda pengguna Mac selama berbulan-bulan dan disebut mengganggu, lantaran bisa ditemui di aplikasi-aplikasi penting macam Mail hingga Messages, sebagaimana dirangkum KompasTekno dari MacRumors, Jumat (9/2/2024).

Nah, untuk memperbarui iPhone ke iOS 17.3.1, pengguna bisa mengunjungi menu "Settings" > "General" > dan "Software Update".

Lalu pembaruan watchOS 10.31 bisa dilakukan melalui aplikasi Apple Watch di iPhone dengan iOS 17 ke atas, tepatnya dengan cara mengunjungi menu "General & Software Update".

Kemudian pembaruan di Mac bisa dilakukan melalui menu "Software Update" yang ada di menu pengaturan sistem alias "System Settings".
